It’s been something of a transitional year for those of us involved in the fight against [Cybercrime](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/hashtag/?keywords=cybercrime&highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7143563224179736576).

On the one hand, we’re seeing bigger and bigger hacks and a wider variety of attacks than ever before - including growing numbers of attacks on [CriticalNationalInfrastructure](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/hashtag/?keywords=criticalnationalinfrastructure&highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7143563224179736576), at home and abroad.

On the other, the sheer scale of the cyber skills shortage has begun to be recognised.
